Hi, I’m Pastor Jimmy! Thank you for taking the time to check out our children's ministry. We know your children are the most important thing in your life and we have exciting classes for them to learn the word of God in.
Formerly Known As (FKA) is a meeting for young people held every Sunday at 4:30 where we experience God and endeavor to bring the power of the world to come into this present day. We believe that each young person is a unique expression of God's love and creativity. Together with our staff, we create an atmosphere that is both welcoming and inclusive; a safe place to experience God.
Our mission and purpose is to glorify God as one body through one Spirit, to humbly serve Him in a spirit of excellence as ministers of music, hope and love. . To lead others into His divine presence through praise, thanksgiving and worship that they may experience the miracles of His love.
To continually seek His guidance that we might always bear the fruits of His Spirit. For more info, contact at

Foundations - Larry Fansler This course is for everyone new to City on the Hill. The fundamental doctrines of Hebrews 6 are taught along with our church vision, form of government, principles of giving, praise and worship, etc. The church requires this course for all who desire to serve at City on the Hill; How can two walk together except they be agreed? (Amos 3:3 ). Class meets during the first service.
Beginning early in 2009, a contemporary service began on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM, designed for young adults. Called "117" after Psalm 117 , the gathering includes live praise and worship, relevant messages, and structured conversations, as well as various outreaches to the community. Some of these outreaches consist of: volunteering at retirement homes, soup kitchens, and reaching out to those who find themselves "down and out."
We've established our Healing Room Ministry for anyone who is in need of healing or freedom from disease or any type of affliction or bondage. You don’t have to be a part of our church (or even a Christian) just come as they did in the days of Jesus. “To hear the Word and be healed.” (Luke 5:15 , Luke 6:18 ) We follow the pattern of Dr. John G. Lake who established the Healing Room Ministry and trained Divine Healing Technician Teams to minister by the Word of God and prayer.
Birthed after discovering the striking similarities between physical combat and spiritual warfare, we decided to introduce the sport of Brazilian jiu-jitsu as a method of teaching spiritual truths, as well as, creating relationships, getting in shape, and reaching fellow athletes who share the love of the sport.
